Hammond Tolle, son of Prudence (Davis) and Matthias Tolle, was born 8 Sep 1815 in Lewis County, Kentucky. In 1843 he received land from his parents for "love and affection". On 4 Sep 1851 in Mason County, Kentucky he married Curlinda Davis Shepherd. Their bondsman was Elbert Shepherd, and witnesses were Georgia Ann & Lucinda Shepherd. Hannond and Curlinda were first cousins to each other on the Davis side of the family. Curlinda was born 4 Apr 1830, the daughter of Melinda (Davis) and George Shepherd. Hammond was found on all of the census records for 1850 through 1880 in Lewis County, Kentucky, and consistently on the tax rolls throughout those years. His brother Emmanuel gave his power of attorney to him on 18 Feb 1861 to dispose of his interest in their father's estate. He can be found numerous times in the deed books of the county. He died 20 Dec 1884 in Adams County, Ohio, and Curlinda died 11 May 1911. They are buried in the IOOF Cemetery in Manchester, Adams County, Ohio.

Nancy A. Malinda Tolle, daughter of Prudence (Davis) and Matthias Tolle, was born 21 Jan 1822 in Lewis County, Kentucky. She married on 18 Oct 1847 in Lewis County to John Brown. He was born 17 Jan 1817 in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of Elizabeth (Ferris) and Eleazer Brown. Nancy and John moved from Lewis County to McLean County, Illinois, and then on to DeWitt County, Illinois where they lived the remainder of their lives on their prosperous farm. She was on the deed of heirs for her father's estate in 1865. John died 30 Mar 1899, and Nancy died 2 Dec 1906. They are buried in Sugar Grove Cemetery in DeWitt County, Illinois. According to her obituary, they had 27 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren at the time of her death.

Matthias Beverly Tolle, son of Mary (maiden name unknown) and Reuben Tolle, was born about 1812 in Virginia. He appeared by the name of Beverly on many of the records. He married 11 Dec 1843 in Mason County, Kentucky to Susan Minirva Smith. Their bondsman was Alexander Duke, and they were married by William C. Dandy. Susan was born about 1825, and she was the daughter of Harriet (?) and James Smith. He is listed in his father's probate record. He was on all the census records for 1850 through 1880. Susan died before 1880, and Matthias died in 1899. He is buried in the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Mason County, Kentucky. His tombstone says Beverly M. Tolle "Father" 1812-1899.

Mattoy B. Tolle, son of Mary (maiden name unknown) and Reuben Tolle, was born Jun 1827 in Mason County, Kentucky. In the 1850 census of Mason County he was in the household of Jacob and Amanda Thomas. He married Serelda Williamson on 13 Sep 1853 or ---- (records conflict). They had one child and Serelda died before 1858. Mattoy married again to Nancy Foxworthy on 4 Aug 1858 in Lewis County, Kentucky. They got their license in Fleming County, and their bondsman was B.C. Foxworthy. Nancy was born Oct 1825, and she was the daugter of Elizabeth (Calvert) and John Foxworthy. He was on the Lewis County, Kentucky tax rolls for 1851-1866, and on the Lewis County census for 1860. There are deed records for him there for 1862 and 1867. He must have moved to neighboring Fleming County, because there is a deed for him there in 1865, and he was on the census there in 1870. By 1880 he was back in Mason County, where he was on the 1880 and 1900 census. Mattoy Tolle died in 1905, and is buried in the Mt Olivet Cemetery in Orangeburg, Kentucky.

Marion B. Tolle, son of Mary (maiden name unknown) and Reuben Tolle, was born about 1824 in Mason County, Kentucky. He married in 1866 in Mason County to Sophia A. Dye. Sophia was born Nov 1836, the daughter of Ann (Threlkeld) and Evans Dye. He was in Mason County in the 1860, and in Fleming County, Kentucky for 1870 and 1880. He died in 1888, and is buried in the Mayslick Cemetery in Mason County. His tombstone says 1824-1888. He was named in his father's probate.

Julia Ann Dunaway, daughter of Rebecca (Tolle) and Jarvis Dunaway, was born about 1812 in Virginia. She was also known as "Julie". She married on 22 Dec 1829 in Mason County, Kentucky to William Galleneous Bean. Their bondsman was Lewis Tolle, Rebecca Dunaway was the mother of the birde, and a witness was Jusanne Dunaway. William was born about 1807, and was the son of Eda (Kilgore) and Leondard Bean. They moved to Clinton County, where Julia died in 1878, and she is buried in the Lees Creek or Centerville cemetery there.

Cecelia Ellen Tolle, daughter of Harriet F. (Collis) and Presley Tolle, was born 18 Jan 1819 in fleming County, Kentucky. She married on 15 Oct 1835 in Mason County, Kentucky to Lewis Bean Wallingford. They were married by Joel Morehead, Minister of the Gospel. Lewis was born 27 Jul 1814, and was the son of Mary (Ginn) and Nicholas Wallingford. She died 29 Mar 1891 in Fleming County, Kentucky.

Richard Presley Tolle, son of Matilda (Lynn) and Lewis Tolle, was born Nov 1832 in Mason County, Kentucky. On 18 Dec 1853 in Fleming County, Kentucky he married JARINDA S. WALLINGFORD7 his first cousin one removed. She was born 5 Jun 1838, the daughter of Cecelia Ellen (Tolle) and Lewis Bean Wallingford. Three children died as infants. He was a delegate to the convention of the Opposition Party from Orangeburg on 9 Apr 1860. during the Civil War, he served in the Union Army as a Private in Company B, 5th Kentucky Infantry. He was listed as a farmer on the 1860 and 1870 census, and as a merchant in 1880. In 1900 he was listed as age 67. He was operating a general store in Orangeburg in 1888. He was on the deed of heirs for his father's probate in 1884. Jarinda died 13 May 1885, and in Oct 1888, he married again in mason County to Mrs Lennie (Parks) Davis, a widow. Richard died in 1909, and is probably buried in the Tolle cemetery on Route 1237 in Lewis County.

Mary Matilda Tolle, daughter of Matilda (Lynn) and Lewis Tolle, was born 22 Mar 1836 in Lewis County, Kentucky. She married 29 Jan 1857 in Mason County, Kentucky to James Madison Hull. They were married at the home of her father, by Rev Daniel S. Bradley. Witnesses were Elias Debell and Marion Tolle. She was on the deed of heirs of her father in 1884. Not much is known about her, except that she died on 26 Aug 1904, at the age of 68 years, 6 months, and 30 days. She is buried in the Mt Tabor Cemetery in Fleming County, Kentucky.

Lewis Dudley Tolle, son of Matilda (Lynn) and Lewis Tolle, was born 12 Oct 1839 in Mason County, Kentucky. He married Ann Eliza Soward on 10 Sep 1867 in Fleming County, Kentucky. He appeared on the 1850 and 1860 census as a minor with his parents, and then on the 1870 census he was still in the house of his father, with a wife and one child. His name is also in the Deed Index of Fleming County, Kentucky in 1870. He was on the 1880 census of Mason County. In 1885 he was on the deed of heirs for his father. He lived in Lewis County, Kentucky during the census for 1900 through 1920, and is listed as a farmer. He died on 29 Jan 1922 in Lewis County, at the age of 82 years, 3 months, and 7 days. One record gives his burial as Olivet Cemetery near Rectorville, and the other as in the Tolle cemetery on Route 1237. Ann Eliza died on 2 Jan 1914 and is buried in the Olivet Cemetery.
